Come learn new skills and gain insightful understanding about creating a healthy and exciting relationship. People in challenging relationships often see communication or lack of communication as the problem; they blame an affair for coming between them; or they complain that compatibility or even unhappiness is the reason they have a struggling relationship. The truth is that these are symptoms of a greater issue in the relationship. They are the result of a significant issue in your relationship, but they are not the problem. The benefits of a group setting is that you will have more opportunity to practice different skills with a variety of people, which is sometimes easier than with a emotionally charged partner or spouse. It also provides a safe space to share experiences and grow from other members’ learned experiences and knowledge.
Cost: $325/per a couple for 5 sessions
Spots are limited to 8 couples – Workshop must reach minimum of 4 couples to run.
Why Don't I Fit Into This Box? - Teen Identity Group
Starting April 16, Mondays from 3:30pm-5pm, SIGN UP TODAY TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT
Are you between 11-16 years old? This group is for you. This is a safe place to come and discover who you are. “Who am I?” is a complicated question. Sometimes we feel like we can’t be ‘ourselves’ when we are in a group. Or maybe you feel like you don’t know who you are when you are all alone? This is a place to come and discover who you are and how to walk confidently in who you are even when other people try to get you to be something you don’t want to be. In this group you will grow in your confidence and identity while learning to build healthy relationships with other teens your age. We will also discuss ’emotional intelligence’ and learn to identify our own emotions and what to do with them when they feel too heavy to carry.
Wondering about why the age range is so broad? In a world where bullying and mean-girls is so prevalent, a key aspect of this group will look at peer support – not just friendships, but how do we learn to support those around us, even those younger than us.
